Terminal 2 of Mumbai’s international airport is one of India’s most iconic aviation infrastructures, designed to handle millions of passengers from all nationalities with seamless efficiency and world-class amenities. The project demanded engineering precision, strict safety compliance, and coordinated execution across multiple zones—all in a high-security environment.
Inner Space was entrusted with multiple interior infrastructure packages across different phases of the terminal’s development and operations. The scope included- raised access flooring, large-scale metal ceiling installations, and modular toilet cubicle systems—each executed to meet the stringent quality and performance standards of airport infrastructure.

Scope of Work

01. Raised Access Flooring – Security & Technical Zones (Year 2010)

Bare Tile Flooring: 50,000 sqft

Laminate Finish Flooring: Approx. 8,000 sqft

02. Metal False Ceiling – Parking Level Lobbies (2010)

The parking lobby ceilings required large-scale, durable, and visually consistent metal ceiling systems.

  • Precision installation ensured uniform alignment across massive ceiling spans.
  • Systems were designed to integrate lighting, ventilation, and service elements seamlessly.
  • The result was a clean, structured ceiling solution suited for high-traffic public infrastructure.
03. Stainless Steel Toilet Cubicles – Parking Levels (2025)
These cubicles were installed to meet the durability, hygiene, and maintenance requirements of busy airport parking facilities.
  • Stainless-steel construction ensured corrosion resistance, strength, and easy cleaning.
  • LED indicator locks improved user convenience and occupancy visibility.
  • The modular systems meant clean, fast and precise installation in and active operational zones.
